Professional bodybuilder turned actor Olivier Richters (“Black Widow,” “Gangs of London”) will play Krom, the leader of the psycho bandits that rule Pandora in Eli Roth’s film adaptation of the video game franchise “Borderlands”.

Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret
Benny Safdie has been set to star in the adaptation of Judy Blume’s 1970 novel “Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret” at Lionsgate.

The story follows a sixth-grader who is questioning everything about adolescence and puberty, and is searching the universe for whatever answers she can find. Safdie will play Margaret’s father, Herb, in the film which also stars Abby Ryder Fortson, Rachel McAdams and Kathy Bates. [Source: THR]

Nia Long, Joaquim de Almeida, Ken Leung, Amy Landecker, Daniel Henney, Megan Suri and Tim Griffin will join Storm Reid in the next installment of “Searching” at Sony’s Stage 6 Films.
