Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) has some explaining to do in Coronation Street next week, when he comes clean to Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) about his whereabouts on the night of Kelly Neelan’s (Millie Gibson) trial.
The solicitor was seen out and about on the eve in question, which left Toyah confused given that he’d told her he’d simply spent the night in the office.
Matters were complicated further when she discovered that he’d stayed at Sabeen’s (Zora Bishop), but Imran made it clear that he did not sleep with his ex.
In fact, he promised Toyah that he had not cheated on her at all, but viewers know this to be untrue, as Sabeen later clarified that he did not spend the entire night on her sofa, meaning he went elsewhere.
Next week, Toyah tells Imran that they’ve been asked to foster four-year-old Elsie, and she couldn’t be more excited about it.
Imran, however, is riddled with guilt.
Unable to keep lying to the love of his life, he comes clean, confirming that he cheated on her on the night of Kelly’s verdict.
The question is: who was this one night stand with?
‘Viewers are going to be shocked, given some of the revelations that are going to come out!,’ actor Charlie de Melo told Metro.co.uk. ‘It compounds how bad he is feeling on the night of the verdict.
‘Sabeen said at want point he had found comfort in another’s arms but this is completely the opposite. He has made himself easily the least comfortable he could be!’
Will Toyah be able to forgive him?
