Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) has her eyes on dealing with Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins) due to her jealousy over her growing relationship with David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) in Emmerdale.
But as the killer sets out to ensure Victoria dies by sabotaging her safety harness during a survual retreat, a chain of events leads Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) into serious danger. And all Meena can do is watch in horror.
Has her scheme led to the death of her own sister?
Since Meena arrived in the village, tensions have been high between the siblings, with Manpreet refusing (rightly) to trust and embrace Meena into the family fold.
But Manpreet was never regarded as a murder target for malicious Meena – that accolade belongs solely to a potentially doomed Victoria.
Meena knows she’s maliciously damaged Victoria’s harness. She watches in fear as Manpreet takes Victoria’s harness, knowing full well that this is the same harness she damaged.
As the adventure gets underway, pictures have already revealed that Victoria and David will end up in the water – but will Manpreet face a similar fate?
It remains to be seen whether Manpreet will be caught in the crossfire and become Meena’s next victim – and whether sociopath Meena will even feel any remorse if so.
But the soap has confirmed that at least one character won’t survive the survival mission.
