The trailer has been released for the George Clooney-directed coming-of-age drama “The Tender Bar”.
Amazon Studios has set a December 17th theatrical release for the film, followed by an Amazon Prime launch on January 7th.
Based on J.R. Moehringer’s bestselling memoir, the story recollects the time Moehringer (Tye Sheridan) spent searching for unlikely father figures among the patrons at the bar of his uncle Charlie (Ben Affleck) in Long Island.
Lily Rabe, Max Martini, Christopher Lloyd, Max Casella, Sondra James, and Briana Middleton co-star. Oscar-winning scribe William Monahan adapted the script while Clooney, Grant Heslov and Ted Hope produce.
