Kim Delaney will officially join General Hospital next week and it looks like the actress will reprise a very famous role.
Yup, her return to daytime TV will also bring back a familiar character who goes by the name of Jackie Templeton.
For those who don’t know, that’s the character who was originally played by Demi Moore.
It would make sense for her to play Jackie seeing as Lulu has been on a quest to find a journalist.
Jackie is an intrepid investigative reporter who was involved with both Luke and Robert, but nobody has really talked about her much after she left Port Charles in the 1980s.
Some fans are already throwing theories out about her return, suggesting she could be Chase’s mom.
Daytime Confidential reported that actor Tristan Rogers leaked news about Jackie’s return in a Cameo video.
He stated: ‘There was a huge storyline planned around Robert going out to find Emma and Holly. Well, we went into lockdown, she came down very, very hard with Covid, and she’s been battling it ever since, so that storyline is on the back-burner.
‘But what you are going to see is some of Robert’s old flames return, maybe not played by the originals. But like for instance – she goes to air next week – but Jackie Templeton comes back on the show, played by just a wonderful actress called Kim Delaney.’
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
