Hammer, Manson Lose Representatives
Actor Armie Hammer and musician/actor Marilyn Manson have lost some key representatives today.
Hammer has been dropped by his agency William Morris Endeavor (WME) reports THR. It comes after the actor’s career is seemingly in freefall following the public reveal of graphic messages he allegedly sent several women over social media.
Hammer has denied the allegations. Last week he exited Paramount+ series “The Offer” and before that left the action rom-com “Shotgun Wedding” (Josh Duhamel has replaced him).
Manson meanwhile has just been dropped by longtime manager Tony Ciulla according to Rolling Stone. Ciulla was at Manson’s side throughout many controversies in his career from accusations his music incited the Columbine shooting to multiple lawsuits.
“Westworld” actress Evan Rachel Wood first came forward with allegations of abuse against Manson on Monday which Manson denied. Soon after other women have come forward with accusations against him.
The reaction has been swift. Manson’s record label and his agency CAA dropped him, while Starz’s “American Gods” series will edit him out of episodes and Shudder’s “Creepshow” episode with him has been scrapped.
