Max (Jo Martin) has a huge amount on her plate in tonight’s Holby City. Her mother Sanya (Dona Croll) is still seriously ill, and as her condition deteriorates Fletch (Alex Walkinshaw) tries to persuade Max that it’s time to think about palliative care – but Max isn’t ready to let her mother go. She also has the worry of waiting for her test results to see if she has inherited a higher chance of breast cancer from her mother. Meanwhile, in her role as CEO of the hospital she’s worried about a series of thefts of hospital property. Stuff is apparently walking out of the door in massive quantities.

Of course we know that the culprit for these thefts is none other than Max’s son Louis (Tyler Luke Cunningham), who still has a debt to pay to Vicky (Juno Dawson) – and she’s stepping up the pressure on him. But Louis’s days of crime might be numbered, as Jeong-Soo (Chan Woo Lim) and Josh (Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge) realise what he’s up to. Will they go to Max with their discovery?

Dominic (David Ames) and Sacha (Bob Barrett) plot the operation that Dominic hopes will reverse his stoma and give him back the life he wants. The problem is that they need another surgeon, and it has to be someone Dominic trusts. The obvious person is Ange (Dawn Steele) – but will she agree to assist on a highly risky and probably unethical operation on her son? If only Dominic had something on Ange that he could use to force her hand…

Lucky Simpson (Vineeta Rishi) once again spends her day pursuing Kian (Ramin Karimloo) with a urine sample bottle in her hand, and yet again he employs every tactic to avoid giving her a sample until he can do it on Darwin, where he’s hidden his secret sample bottles. Can he keep fooling Lucky?

Hanssen (Guy Henry) is clearly still feeling troubled about the situation with Sahira’s father, and he’s not his usual self at all and is snappy with the nurses.

What with that and Dominic’s selfish and arrogant attitude, Donna (Jaye Jacobs) has had enough and complains to Fletch. But what can he do about the situation?
