With “Homeland” all over, Emmy and Tony winner Mandy Patinkin is joining the critically acclaimed drama series “The Good Fight” for its fifth season on the recently rebranded Paramount+ service.
Patinkin will play Hal Wackner, a layman with no legal training who spontaneously decides to open a court in the back of a copy shop.
Against all odds, it catches on and the team at Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart find themselves contending with judgements that mean nothing legally but are honored by an entertained public.
He joins Charmaine Bingwa who has also been cast as a series regular for the new run, both castings follow the exits of Delroy Lindo and Cush Jumbo at the end of last season.
