“Dark Souls” and “Bloodborne” developers FromSoftware has revealed new gameplay and character information for their new title “Elden Ring”.
The project is said to have a much larger world compared to other Souls-like titles, and so players will have access to an overworld map.
The game reportedly features a variety in the dungeons that players will encounter – some on cold high peaks, others underwater. Legacy Dungeons are massive castles that offer great rewards.
While traveling through the world’s terrain, there will also be items like jump pads to allow for platforming. You play as The Tarnished, a character capable of melee combat, archery, and magic. Fast travel and a central hub for supplies are also set.
“Elden Ring” is set to launch on January 21st on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
