Jaimie Alexander will return as Lady Sif for Taika Waititi’s upcoming sequel “Thor: Love and Thunder” at Marvel Studios reports Deadline.
The “Blindspot” star rose to fame in the role of the Asgardian warrior who had a small supporting role in the first and second films, along with appearing as the character on “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” in two episodes.
Alexander sat out 2017’s “Thor: Ragnarok,” the character not mentioned or seen in the effort which means she escaped Hela’s purge of many Asgardian fighters in the third movie. How she’ll come back in is unclear right now, but the outlet says Alexander could also have a guest spot on the Disney+ series “Loki”.
Production on “Thor: Love and Thunder” begins next month in Sydney with Taika Waititi returning as director.
