Former “Batwoman” star Ruby Rose keeps her post-“John Wick Chapter 2” big screen action streak going with the ‘punishing’ action-thriller “The Doorman” which hails from “Midnight Meat Train” and “Versus” helmer Ryuhei Kitamura.
A trailer for the film has gone online and shows Rose playing a former Marine turned doorman at a luxury New York City high-rise who must outsmart and battle a group of art thieves and their ruthless leader (Jean Reno) all whilst struggling to protect her sister’s family.
The thieves become increasingly desperate and violent, and so the doorman calls upon her deadly fighting skills to end the showdown. Rupert Evans and Aksel Hennie also star in the film which hits Digital HD and VOD on October 9th and disc on October 13th.
