“Hereditary,” “Pig” and “Old’ star Alex Wolff has joined the cast of Christopher Nolan’s biopic “Oppenheimer” at Universal Pictures.
As per usual with basically every actor cast in this project, Wolff’s role is not being revealed. However shooting in New Mexico has been underway for a few weeks, so that casting is continuing is a surprise.
Cillian Murphy is portraying physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer in the film which deals with Oppenheimer’s involvement in the Manhattan Project and then later saw his loyalty to the United States questioned by government officials.
Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Benny Safdie, Josh Hartnett, Dane DeHaan, Jack Quaid, Matthew Modine, Alden Ehrenreich, David Krumholtz and David Dastmalchian are also onboard among many others.
“Oppenheimer” is currently set for a July 21st 2023 release.
