Amazon is launching a new original series called Utopia this September. During the CTAM summer press tour, we got an early look at the show, which is violent, comedic, and intriguing. Now, a new trailer has arrived, diving deeper into the world of conspiracies. Additionally, it was revealed that the show will premiere on September 25.

Utopia follows a group of people who believe a comic book series predicts the future. More specifically, it predicts pandemic-level diseases, and this group of people needs to find an unpublished issue in order to stop the next one. Check out the new trailer below.

Utopia stars Dan Byrd (Easy A), Ashleigh LaThrop (The Handmaid’s Tale), Jessica Rothe (Happy Death Day), Desmin Borges (You’re the Worst), and Javon “Wanna” Walton (Euphoria). The show also features John Cusack (Con Air), Rainn Wilson (The Office), Farrah Mackenzie (Logan Lucky), Christopher Denham (Argo), and Cory Michael Smith (Gotham).

Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl, Sharp Objects) is the writer of the series, which is executive produced by Jessica Rhoades, Sharon Hall, Karen Wilson, and Dennis Kelly. Season 1 will consist of eight episodes. The series is a remake of Dennis Kelly’s 2013 series from the UK, which ran for two seasons.
