“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” Final Season In August

NBC has released a promo for the eighth and final season of the beloved comedy series “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” which will premiere on Thursday, August 12th.

In response to the murder of George Floyd, the final season has been redeveloped and the original plan for the season was scrapped and reworked in order for the workplace comedy to address police brutality.

Showrunner Dan Goor has also previously confirmed that the final season will also cover the ongoing pandemic. The final run sees the NYPD’s 99th Precinct’s Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and Capt. Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher) and their lovable colleagues balance their personal and professional lives over the course of a difficult year.
