There’s already been a few trailers, now Lionsgate and Roadshow Films have released the opening five minutes of “Independence Day” and “The Day After Tomorrow” director Roland Emmerich’s sci-fi epic disaster feature “Moonfall”.
The story begins when a mysterious force knocks the Moon from its orbit around Earth and sends it hurtling on a collision course with life as we know it. With mere weeks before impact, a ragtag team launches an impossible last-ditch mission into space to save our planet from annihilation.
Halle Berry, Stanley Tucci, John Bradley, Patrick Wilson, Kelly Yu, Donald Sutherland, Michael Pena, and Charlie Plummer star in the film which Emmerich co-wrote with Harald Kloser and Spenser Cohen. The film opens on February 4th, 2022.
