George Clooney and Julia Roberts will star in the romantic comedy “Ticket to Paradise” at Universal Pictures and Working Title.
The pair will play a divorced couple who journey to Bali to stop their daughter from getting hitched. Clooney and Roberts previously worked together on the “Ocean’s Eleven” franchise and “Money Monster”.
Ol Parker (“The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel”) will direct the film from a script by Oscar-nominee Ted Melfi (“Hidden Figures”). Shooting begins later this year with Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Deborah Balder Stone and Sarah Harvey producing.
