DC’s “Black Adam” Begins Production

Filming has officially begun on the DC Comics adaptation “Black Adam” starring Dwayne Johnson. Johnson shared the first photo from the set with his 227 million Instagram followers, taking a snap of the first day’s first scene clapper board.

Jaume Collet-Serra directs and Lawrence Sher serves as cinematographer on the film which also stars Noah Centineo (Atom Smasher), Sarah Shahi (Isis), Aldis Hodge (Hawkman), Pierce Brosnan (Dr. Fate) and Quintessa Swindell (Cyclone), and James Cusati-Moyer in an unknown role.

“The Mauritanian” scribes Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani along with “Rampage” writer Adam Sztykiel penned the script which was originally slated for a December release this year but will now open July 29th next year.
