Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) in EastEnders doesn’t have a lot of family around her anymore, and now she’s destroyed her relationship with Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) – also known as the closest thing to a brother she’s ever had – Sharon is probably feeling pretty lonely in the pub with just baby Albie for company.
But could that all be about to change soon as Sharon discovers she’s actually got a brother?
Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) arrives at the pub and drops the bombshell that Gavin (the man who helped fake Kathy’s death, and is also Sharon’s real father) has passed away.
Sharon tells Kathy she won’t be going to the memorial service, but after a chat with Callum (Tony Clay), Sharon finds Kathy and they head off together.
At the wake, Kathy attempts to talk about Ian, but they’re interrupted when Zack (James Farrah) makes a scathing toast to Gavin, leaving everyone fuming.
Zack dashes out as Sharon shows Kathy she’s taken Gavin’s urn and tosses the contents into a bin.
After they find Zack hiding out in their car, Kathy wonders how he knew Gavin but as Zack checks the coast is clear, he leaves.
Could Zack be Gavin’s son?
