Emmerdale spoilers: Broken Harriet Finch confesses her crimes to the police in huge twist?

Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) continues to struggle with the part she played in DI Malone’s (Mark Womack) death in Emmerdale, but will she confess her crimes to the police?

Harriet was horrified to discover that Malone was threatening Dawn’s (Olivia Bromley) life, and therefore she took action and hit him with a kettle.

However, the detective survived the attack and tried to kill them, resulting in Dawn finishing the job.

Harriet decided that they had to dispose of the body, or risk Dawn going to prison for a very long time.

After burying the bent copper in a graveyard, Harriet — who seemed oddly calm up until this point — broke down, as she came to terms with what she’d done.

In the coming episodes, she takes herself off to a religious retreat.

Meanwhile, Cain (Jeff Hordley) discovers the door of the church has been left open, and he takes it upon himself to investigate.

Harried — having returned form her retreat — is inside, and she’s sobbing her heart out.

Will she spill the beans to Cain?

Whether or not she does so remains to be seen, but she later returns home to find out that Dawn has told Will almost everything about Malone’s demise.

With the stress of everything weighing on her — and with Will now knowing the full truth — will she perhaps feel compelled to go to the police and reveal that she and Dawn killed Malone?
