Former Marvel co-stars Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson are teaming again for the adventure feature “Ghosted” at Apple Studios and Skydance.
The project is said to be a high-concept romantic action-adventure in the vein of Robert Zemeckis’ 1984 featuee “Romancing the Stone,” not unlike the upcoming Tatum-Bullock led film “The Lost City”.
“Rocketman” and “Eddie the Eagle” helmer Dexter Fletcher is set to direct the project which will be written by “Deadpool” scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Evans, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger will produce.
Evans previously worked with Apple on the legal drama “Defending Jacob”. Johansson most recently joined Wes Anderson’s new film which is about to shoot in Spain.
