Gordon Ramsay is reportedly in talks to host a quiz show titled Bank Balance for ITV.

It’d be a far cry from everything he’s used to, with the show having nothing to do with cooking, and we’re definitely intrigued.

An insider told The Sun: ‘This is a big, glitzy, prime time project which isn’t his normal type of show, but that’s just the point.

‘Viewers would be curious to see how fiery Gordon performs as a gameshow host and tune in to see if he gets frustrated with the contestants in the same way he did with competitors on Hell’s Kitchen.

‘The creators hope this will be a concept similar to Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? which can be sold around the globe. And Gordon’s international profile will certainly help make that easier.’

The idea for the show is thought to have come from Gordon’s own studio, Studio Ramsay, which was also behind the likes of Gordon, Gino and Fred: American Roadtrip.

Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for Gordon Ramsay and ITV for comment.

Gordon, who recently reopened his restaurant, certainly looks like he’s planning on keeping himself busy, especially after it was reported he’s looking to bring back Hell’s Kitchen UK after a whopping 16 years.

‘[Gordon’s] always wanted to bring Hell’s Kitchen back to British TV and he wouldn’t want anyone else to be fronting its revival,’ a source told The Sun.

‘Despite only hosting one series in the UK, it’s one of the shows with which he is most closely associated, mainly because his notorious temper produced some of its best moments.

‘Despite Gordon making life a misery for many of the celebrities, famous faces are likely to be clamouring to sign up.’

We’re sold already.
