Hi-Tech Gadgets Your Wife Will Love

[ad_1]

When we hear the word 'gadget', we typically think of some dorky gizmo that only geeky guys could really appreciate. But since gadgets are really small items designed to perform a task that makes our lives a bit easier, there are plenty of examples that even the most sophisticated among us can enjoy.

Digital Picture Frame

Digital Picture Frames look just like a regular picture frame you might find on a fireplace mantle or dresser top. But they are actually small LCD screens, with memory cards that store photos. You can upload digital pictures from the various storage media, like USB drives, SD cards, etc, or by connecting it directly to the computer. Then it displays the image in a slideshow, changing from one photo to the next. They often come with very nice-looking frames that make them blend in.

Media Capture Devices

That's a fancy way of saying "camera". If your wife does not have a digital camera yet, there is no time like the present! Prices have dropped, and quality has improved. Choose from either a still camera, one that takes pictures and short videos, or even a pure video camera. Today, almost all of the cameras make it easy to upload to websites to display your images and videos.

Music Devices

MP3 Players or iPods also make great gadgety gifts. Let your wife load up all the music she loves onto one device, giving her tons of options of how to play them (by artist, random, even by style). And, of course, with that gadget comes others, like docking stations to play the MP3 player in the house, and radio converters that let you listen through you car's radio system.

Digital Cooking Aids

If your wife loves to cook, there are many gadgets that can help. For example, a digital meat thermometer lets her know exactly when the turkey is cooked. An infra-red scanning thermometer can be used for making candy, when the temperature of the materials cooking has to be very precise.

Under Cabinet Television

For the wife who sees more time in the kitchen than the TV room, consider an under counter TV . It stays out of the way, but can let her watch TV and DVDs while hanging out in her favorite room.
