New Line Cinema

Comedian Mike Myers has posted a photo tease of his new comedy series “The Pentaverate” which shows an old-fashioned helicopter. The caption says: “5 Days. The 5th Hour” suggesting a potential trailer launch next week.

The series deals with an unlikely Canadian journalist finding himself embroiled in a mission to uncover the truth and save the world from the eponymous five-men strong Illuminati-style organisation that has been influencing world events for centuries.

Myers himself will reportedly play seven roles in the series alongside Ken Jeong, Keegan-Michael Key, Debi Mazar, Richard McCabe, Jennifer Saunders and Lydia West.

The series will consist of six thirty-minute episodes created and executive produced by Myers, while Tim Kirkby (“Fleabag,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) is directing and executive producing. Jason Weinberg, John Lyons, Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns also executive produce.
