“No Time to Die” Wins Grammy Award

Billie Eilish has won a Grammy for her theme song to the upcoming James Bond film “No Time to Die”.

Her win tonight, taking home the trophy for best song written for visual media, marks the first time in Grammy history a song for a film that has not yet been released has won.

The unreleased movie has been delayed several times amid the ongoing pandemic and is currently scheduled for an October 8th release – eighteen months after its originally planned debut.

Eilish had released “No Time to Die” in February last year, with her music video releasing in October.

That wasn’t the only movie to win either with “Joker” taking best score soundtrack for visual media, “JoJo Rabbit” winning best compilation soundtrack for visual media, and documentary “Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice ” snagging the best music film win.
