The first set photos have emerged from “Powerpuff,” the live-action sequel series based on the animated series “The Powerpuff Girls”.
Stars Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron, and Yana Perrault were filming the pilot on Wednesday in Atlanta as Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup respectively.
The trio showed up in their full color costumes, along with co-star Donald Faison, who plays their creator/father Professor Utonium. Bennet’s Blossom went flying through the air at one point for the sequence being filmed.
The series follows the titular superheroes as disillusioned twenty-somethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime-fighting. Check out the photos below, and head over to TMZ for more photos & video.
