  • Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and their cheerleaders push the media narrative that the younger Prince is a socially-aware “woke” individual.
  • Some are overly keen to portray the royal institution as a backward, outdated system that held forward-thinkers like Harry and Meghan back.
  • Prince Harry has shown though that when he doesn’t get what he or Meghan wants, the gloves come off, and the petulant side of his character is there for all to see.

As part of the rebranding of both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, it was essential to portray Harry as different from other royals, and notably as unlike his brother, Prince William.

The narrative being pushed by Meghan’s cheerleaders is that Harry is an “everyman” who was trapped in a snobbish, anachronistic institution that was stifling his creativity and also the ability of his wife to really shine.

Much as Prince Harry’s questionable past when it comes to race has been swept under the carpet, the fact that he’s still a spoiled, brattish rich kid beneath the ‘woke’ mask he’s been wearing is also hidden wherever possible.

Unfortunately, his real character often breaks through for all to see.

When demands aren’t met, Prince Harry throws a tantrum and the elitist in him comes out

Recently, a story in the British media detailed a tiff between Prince Harry and his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

The subject of discussion was the tiara that Meghan Markle would wear when the couple was married. Initially, Meghan reportedly had designs on a tiara that had already been promised by the Queen to her granddaughter, Eugenie.

According to Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie, however, the story is a little bit different.

In an interview he claimed Prince Harry said during a phone call with his grandmother:

I don’t know what the hell is going on. This woman needs to make this work for my future wife.

Omid Scobie has certainly been doing the rounds, discussing his new book. Watch an interview with the author below:

Who exactly is “this woman” that Prince Harry was quick to chastise?

The lady in question was Queen Elizabeth’s most trusted advisor, her personal dresser, and confidante Angela Kelly.

And while there were those quick to dismiss the story that Prince Harry got into a heated debate with the Queen, there was no such denial of how he spoke to Miss Kelly.

In all honesty, considering the level of service Miss Kelly has given to the Queen over many years, this was an argument that even Prince Harry was always destined to lose.

Indeed, the younger royal Prince was quickly summoned by the Queen, where he was reportedly set straight on how one speaks to staff members and was reminded that Miss Kelly is only carrying out the Queen’s orders.

Harry’s hypocrisy and double standards are there for all to see

Didn’t Finding Freedom claim that Prince Harry took issue with his brother referring to Meghan Markle as “this girl” when he commented that Harry should “take as much time as you need to get to know this girl?”

I believe it was claimed he considered such language to be condescending, with the biography also claiming:

In those last two words, ‘this girl’, Harry heard the tone of snobbishness that was anathema to his approach to the world. During his ten-year career in the military, outside the Royal bubble, he had learnt not to make snap judgments about people based on their accent, education, ethnicity, class, or profession.

Let’s put aside the uncomfortable fact that Prince Harry has a very questionable past when it comes to making snap judgments about people based on their ethnicity. Ironically, his tenure with the military described in the book as “outside the royal bubble,” his hypocrisy in this instance is quite simply astounding.

It seems that double standards and the “do as I say, not as I do” approach is very much the order of the day with Sussexes, though.
