NEON has set an October 1st U.S. release date for “Titane,” this year’s Cannes Film Festival Palme d’Or winner from French filmmaker Julia Ducournau (“Raw”). The extreme fantasy drama blends body horror, female revenge films, and “Fast and Furious” car-obsession. [Source: NEON]

The Kaiju Score
Brian and Mark Gunn (“Journey 2: The Mysterious Island”) have been hired to adapt the screenplay for Sony Pictures and Escape Artists’ adaptation of AfterShock Comics’ “The Kaiju Score”.

The story follows four characters who are attempting a dangerous heist during a giant monster (kaiju) attack on a city. Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch are producing. [Source: Deadline]

Timo Tjahjanto
Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto (“The Night Comes For Us”) has announced he’s teaming with “Sinister” director Scott Derrickson and his long-time writing partner C. Robert Cargill on a new untitled genre project set in a dystopian setting and with a unified Asia. Tjahjanto also remains attached to direct the “Train To Busan” English-language remake. Heels
Starz has released a new featurette for the Heels starring Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig-led “Heels” about a family of amateur wrestlers in a small Georgia town. The series will premiere on August 15th on Starz.
