EA’s Star Wars: Battlefront II is the latest free game on the Epic Games Store. The game’s release has proven to be extremely popular, it seems, as EA has needed to introduce additional server capacity to accomodate the huge influx in players.

This has also led to some error messages. People booting up the game may have encountered the 623 or 918 errors, and EA is working to improve the stability of Battlefront II. “An incredible number of players have joined us during our Epic Games Store free week, and we’re scaling up new servers to welcome you all to the Battlefront,” EA said.

Separately, EA’s community manager for the game apologized for the issues. “Apologies for the error messages,” he wrote. “We’ve been working to scale up our capacity and are seeing some healthy recovery. We’ll keep increasing and look forward to seeing you!”
