The CW has released the official trailer for the sixth and final season of superhero series “Supergirl” returning next week on March 30th.
The season premiere sees Brainiac close to death after trying to stop Lex (Jon Cryer) who has used the Obsidian platform to brainwash half the world to love him and follow him at all costs, no matter what horrible things he does.
Supergirl soon realizes that the only way to truly stop Lex is to sacrifice herself. “Arrow” regular David Ramsey reprises his John Diggle role in the new season which also stars Eliza Helm as young Cat Grant and Jason Behr as a Kryptonian.
The final season will run for twenty episodes, kicking off while “Superman & Lois” goes on hiatus.
