The brand that made frozen cauliflower pizza popular is making a fiery update to their veggie-rich crusts. Today, Caulipower announced the launch of their new pizza crusts, the “first-ever artisanal stone-fired cauliflower pizza crusts,” according to a press release from the company.
Devotees of the cult-favorite brand will find that these new crusts are just as packed with cauliflower as the original, but crispier—and closer to the quality of pizza you’d find in a restaurant, Caulipower says.
The new Stone-Fired crusts feature in all of Caulipower’s topped frozen pizzas, which come in eight varieties: Three-Cheese, Margherita, Veggie, Sriracha Veggie, Buffalo-Style Chicken, Italian Sausage & Vegetables, Uncured Pepperoni, and Uncured Turkey Pepperoni. Caulipower tells SELF that the revamped pizzas will also have a “more flavorful” sauce and toppings than the previous iterations. (The brand, which launched in 2017, also sells a plain crust that you can add your own toppings to, which is not getting the stone-fired upgrade.)
The first ingredient in Caulipower crusts is the chameleonic cruciferous veg, of course, followed by a mix of brown rice flour and white rice flour. The certified gluten-free pies are a good option for people who need to avoid gluten and wheat—as well as anyone who appreciates a saucy, cheesy, low-effort way to get a few more veggies in at lunch or dinner. The pizza pies cook from frozen in 13 to 16 minutes at 425 degrees Fahrenheit, directly on the oven rack.
You can find Caulipower’s new stone-fired pizzas in the freezer section at grocers nationwide, including Albertsons/Safeway, Fresh Thyme, Kroger, Target, Shoprite, Sprouts, Walmart, and Whole Foods. You can also order them via grocery delivery service Fresh Direct, or online at Target and Amazon.
In March, Caulipower added frozen cauliflower pasta to their lineup, which also includes riced cauliflower, cauliflower tortillas, and cauliflower-breaded chicken tenders.
