LD Entertainment has premiered the trailer for the gothic thriller “The Cursed” starring Boyd Holbrook, Kelly Reilly and Alistair Petrie. Hailing from writer-director Sean Ellis, the feature is said to offer a reimagining of werewolf legends for a modern-day audience.
The story begins in the late 1800s as a once-peaceful remote country village comes under attack by… something. Villagers spread rumors of a cursed land, supernatural forces, and even demonic creatures, as the disappearances and killings continue.
Pathologist John McBride (Holbrook) arrives to investigate the danger, he comes to discover something much deeper and more sinister than he ever could have imagined.
The film had its world premiere at Sundance the other day and will now be released in theaters nationwide on February 18th.
