Oscar-nominated director Ava DuVernay has shared the first set photo from the upcoming DC Comics series adaptation of “Naomi” which has officially begun shooting for The CW.

Kaci Walfall stars as Naomi McDuffle, a teenager who journeys from her small northwestern town to the heights of the multiverse. When a supernatural event rattles her hometown, she must set out to uncover its origins. [Source: Twitter]

Filming on the fifth season of Netflix’s “The Crown” is set to kick off in July, the new season sees a whole new cast taking over including Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana; Dominic West as Prince Charles; Imelda Staunton as the Queen; and Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret. [Source: Variety]

The Nevers
HBO has released a new featurette for the fantasy series “The Nevers” and follows a group of women in Victorian England who have mysteriously been imbued with distinct superpowers.

Olivia Williams, James Norton, Tom Riley, Rochelle Neil, Eleanor Tomlinson, Nick Frost, Amy Manson, Pip Torrens, Denis O’Hare, Zackary Momoh, Elizabeth Berrington, Kiran Sawar, Anna Devlin, Viola Prettejohn, and Ella Smith star in the series which premieres this Sunday.

The Peripheral
T’Nia Miller, JJ Feild, Charlotte Riley, Adelind Horan and Alex Hernandez have been cast in the Amazon series adaptation of William Gibson’s sci-fi novel “The Peripheral” which hails from “Westworld” creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Jack Reynor, Chloë Grace Moretz and Gary Carr lead the cast. [Source: Variety]

Game of Thrones
HBO has released a spoiler-fueled new retrospective trailer for the eighth and final season of fantasy drama “Game of Thrones” – the clip coming a full two years after the series concluded. The trailer ties in with ‘The Iron Anniversary’ celebrating the debut of the pilot episode ten years ago on April 11th 2011.
