Southampton defender Kyle Walker-Peters has admitted that he is “really happy” that he decided to leave Tottenham Hotspur.
The full-back came through the ranks with the London outfit. He made his senior debut for Spurs during the 2017/18 campaign.
He was highly-rated during his time at Tottenham, but regular first-team opportunities were hard to come by for the youngster.

Walker-Peters only made 24 senior appearances for Tottenham before he joined Southampton on loan in January 2020.
The right-back has hit the ground running with his new club, as he immediately asserted himself in their first team. His loan move was made permanent this summer, as he joined Southampton for a fee of around £12m.
Walker-Peters has been a regular for the Saints this term as they have enjoyed a strong start to the new season.
The defender told Hampshire Live that he is pleased that his move to Southampton has gone so well for him and the team:
“I think you can see with how well we are doing as a team, we are all really enjoying it and because it has gone so well, I feel really happy with the decision I have made.
“The way [Hasenhuttl] wants us to play is very intense, high energy and that suits me really well.
“I am in a team where it really compliments me, so for that reason, I am improving every game and I feel like I am confident every game and hopefully that continues.”
So with The Manchester Derby, Arteta on the edge, Chelsea making a charge at it and Mino Raiola more famous than most Kings…it sounds like a Big Weekend to us.
