Jason Derulo and Jena Frumes have fast become one of our favourite couples with the pair keeping us well and truly entertained in lockdown.
It was thought that Savage Love singer Jason was single as the world went into lockdown but it quickly became clear that he was self-isolating with social media influencer Jena.
Since then, they’ve unexpectedly emerged as TikTok’s golden couple thanks to their daring challenges and stomach-churning fitness exercises.
Five months in, it looks as though Jason and Jena’s romance is still going strong…
When did Jason and Jena start dating?
The pair first started appearing in each other’s social media posts in March but they actually began dating a while before.
A source previously told The Sun: ‘Jason and Jena hadn’t been together too long before the lockdown started but they decided to take the plunge — and they are loving it.
‘They’re both outgoing, lively and spontaneous, so they’re a really good match.
‘For a while, Jason didn’t want to be stuck down in a relationship, especially when performing around the world. But this just felt right and he is seeing what happens.’
The insider added that it was ‘going well so far’ and the pair have a ‘really good connection’.
So how did they meet?
Based on their shared love of fitness, it should come as no surprise that the lovebirds locked eyes with each other at Equinox.
Jason, 30, told Page Six in August: ‘We both have a similar desire to work out all the time, and I had seen her once there before, and then the second time, I was like, “Aight. Imma go talk to her”, and the rest is history.’
Who said romance is dead?
Things seem to be getting serious between the two as Jena recently shared a photo of her and Jason with his two nieces proving she’s now part of the family.

Jason and Jena’s TikToks
Since going public with their romance, Jason and Jena have barely spent any time away from TikTok.
In one of their challenges, Jena progressively jumped on Jason’s back in time to the beat of Krypto9095’s hit song Woah.
Eventually, Jason fully stood up with Jena casually standing on his shoulders.
In one of their most recent Reels on Instagram, Jena attempted to do the WAP dance challenge to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s hit song, only for Jason to kick her into the swimming pool.
Who has Jena dated before?
This isn’t the first time Jena, a fitness influencer, has dated a man in the spotlight.
The 26-year-old was previously in a relationship with Manchester United star Jesse Lingard for around 15 months until their split in 2018.
Confirming their split, Jena tweeted then deleted: ‘At least I can say I tried plus enjoyed the ride”… Wish you the best @JesseLingard.’
She later added: ‘I love Jesse to death but sometimes the timing is just off.’
