Michelle Williams and Jude Law are set to team up for the period psychological horror feature “Firebrand”. Law will play Henry VIII and Williams will play his sixth and final wife Catherine Parr.
The story unfolds from Parr’s perspective, living with a brutal and deteriorating despot who had already killed two of his wives, as she tries to survive the Royal court and push him towards religious reforms in a time when many of her fellow Protestants were being tortured and executed.
Karim Ainouz directs from a script by “Killing Eve” writers Jessica Ashworth and Henrietta Ashworth.
