Amanda Holden has shown her support for Aids charity Terence Higgins Trust after wearing an It’s A Sin fundraising top while dishing out donuts to lucky photographers.
The Britain’s Got Talent presenter, 50, was seen walking through London’s Leicester Square wearing a white t-shirt with the word ‘La’ on the front, from the hit Channel 4 series.
In it, Richie Tozer, played by Ollie Alexander, coins the catchphrase after a dramatic performance which consists of just one note, which the rest of the characters repeat to one another throughout the series.
The tops have so far raised over £300,000 for the HIV and Aids charity in their fight to reduce infection rates.
As well as championing the cause, Amanda also performed another good deed as she was seen giving a waiting photographer a tray of donuts.
Amanda had carried the tray of Krispy Kremes on her walk, and was seen handing them over to a waiting paparazzo at arm’s length to maintain as much social distancing as she could.
The man looked pleased with his gift from Amanda as he browsed the selection of glazed treats on offer.
Amanda made sure to get her T-shirt in full view of the paps as she pulled her leather jacket open to give a better view of the design, as well as sharing it on her social media account.
Alongside a boomerang of her doing a kick on some steps, she wrote: ‘#morning #la tee @philipnormal all proceeds to @thtorguk #itsasin’.
Fans of It’s A Sin praised her in the comments for raising awareness of the important issue, after the show reignited a conversation around HIV and Aids.
The five-part drama followed a group of young men and their female best friend Jill as they navigated the Aids crisis in the 1980s, revealing the stigma and lack of understanding people faced at the time.
