A few weeks ago Amazon Prime Video announced an extended, multi-part special boasting never-before-seen footage from “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm”.
Today they’ve announced it as the three-part special titled “Borat Supplemental Reportings Retrieved From Floor of Stable Containing Editing Machine” (aka. “Borat Supplemental Reportings”) which will premiere on the service on Tuesday, May 25th.
Each part will highlight specific aspects of the sequel. The first part: “BORAT: VHS Cassette of Material Deemed ‘Sub-Acceptable’ By Kazakhstan Ministry of Censorship and Circumcision” offers never before seen deleted scenes.
The second titled “Borat’s American Lockdown” is dubbed a ‘reality show’ at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and expands on Borat’s five-day stay with log cabin-residing conspiracy theorists Jim and Jerry.
The third titled “Debunking Borat” is a series of six newly produced docu-shorts aimed at debunking conspiracy theories like vaccine microchips and the mail-in ballots scam – theories spouted by Jim and Jerry – with a group of experts.
