Long-running Amazon Original series “Bosch” may be ending this year with its seventh season, but it is not the end of the road for some of its key cast.
Actors Titus Welliver, Mimi Rogers, and Madison Lintz will reprise their roles of LAPD Detective Harry Bosch, attorney Honey ‘Money’ Chandler, and Harry’s daughter Maddie Bosch respectively in a new spin-off series.
The currently untitled project has been picked up by IMDb TV and will begin shooting later this year. The new series sees Harry set out on the next chapter of his career – forced to work with his long-standing former enemy Honey to seek justice.
The news was announced via an IMDb TV press release with Welliver, also an executive producer, gushing about the news:
“To say I am ecstatic is an understatement! To be given the opportunity to tell more Harry Bosch stories is a tremendous gift. The process of shooting Season 7 with the shadow of it being our final loomed heavily so when the idea was presented to continue with the possibility of a spinoff, without hesitation I said, ‘Let’s go.’ To all of our Bosch fans, thank you for your incredible support for all these years and I can promise you the ride will only get better!”
The same creative team, including author and executive producer Michael Connelly, are all returning.
