Netflix Teases Cowboy Locke Sandman

As part of its GeekedWeek celebrations, Netflix has released some brief featurettes about its upcoming genre series premiering later this year.

First up, the live-action series adaptation of classic anime “Cowboy Bebop” will premiere this Fall and they confirm that Yoko Kanno, the composer of the anime, will return to compose the score for the live-action series.

Like the original, the series is a jazz-inspired, genre-bending story of a rag-tag crew of bounty hunters on the run from their pasts as they hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals. Cast includes John Cho as Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black, Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine, Alex Hassell as Vicious, and Elena Satine as Julia.

Then there’s a clip from the second season of the Katee Sackhoff-led sci-fi series “Another Life” which will return this Fall.
