Robert Beltran will reprise his role of Chakotay from “Star Trek: Voyager” in the upcoming kid-targeted CG animated series “Star Trek: Prodigy” on the Paramount+ service.
Beltran was named as one of four new voice cast members to join the series during the show’s New York Comic-Con panel over the weekend. Joining him will be Daveed Diggs, Jameela Jamil, and Jason Alexander.
Paramount+ has also released a new clip offering an extended look at the hologram version of Captain Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) who guides the ragtag crew of young mining colony escapees on the U.S.S Protostar while they journey through space.
“Star Trek: Prodigy” premieres on October 28 with a one-hour episode exclusively on the Paramount+ service.
