First “The Dropout” & “WeCrashed” Photos

Hulu

The first photos are out today from two major upcoming projects about high-profile tech startups from charismatic CEOs that ended up losing billions overnight.

First up comes the first photos of Amanda Seyfried as Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in Hulu’s limited series “The Dropout” which will premiere its first three episodes on the service on March 3rd (followed by weekly releases).

Naveen Andrews co-stars in the series about the world’s youngest female self-made billionaire whose company supposedly developed a revolutionary rapid blood test which turned out to be a useless with Holmes spending much of this year on trial.

Meanwhile, Apple TV+ has revealed the first look photo of Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway in “WeCrashed,” the mini-series about the rise and fall of WeWork – the flexible shared workspace startup once valued at $47 billion and whose IPO famously failed in 2019.

Leto (with a prosthetic nose and Israeli accent) plays the infamous and idiosyncratic CEO Adam Neumann, and Hathaway is his wife and brand impact officer Rebekah Neumann. Lee Eisenberg (“Good Boys”) and Drew Crevello serve as creators and showrunners.

John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (“Focus”) helm much of the run which will air in the Spring.
