Seven years after delivering the well-reviewed horror thriller game “Until Dawn” exclusively for PS4, developer Supermassive Games is back with its spiritual successor.
Titled “The Quarry,” the horror adventure will similarly have branching paths depending on the player’s choices with the character’s lives being in the hands of the player.
The action unfolds at Hackett’s Quarry Summer Camp, where nine teenage camp counsellors spend an extra night on the campgrounds, despite the local sheriff (David Arquette) desperately wanting to get them away before sundown.
When they leave the safety of their lodge, the horrors around the camp attempt to hunt them down. Each character has 10-12 different potential deaths depending upon a player’s choices.
Along with Arquette, the cast includes Lance Henriksen, Lin Shaye, Skyler Gisondo, Justice Smith, Ted Raimi, Evan Evagora, Miles Robbins, Grace Zabriskie, Ariel Winter, Halston Sage, Ethan Suplee, Zach Tinker, Brenda Song and Siobhan Williams.
