Ghost Of Tsushima Takes Players Voice Award

Sucker Punch’s “Ghost of Tsushima” has won the Player’s Voice Award at this year’s annual The Game Awards – the only award open to the public to vote on and entirely decide for themselves.

According to the organisers, millions voted on the results with the period Japanese game winning the honor with 47% of the total vote – beating out “The Last of Us Part II” with 33% even as that game was leading at the end of the second round or three rounds of voting.

Both titles will now go up against “Hades,” “Doom Eternal,” “Final Fantasy VII Remake” and “Animal Crossing: New Horizons” for the top award of ‘Game of the Year’.

The Game Awards will be revealed live this coming Thursday where it’s expected a bunch of new game announcement and reveals will also take place.
