It has been expected and now it’s official – Sony has revealed that its 2018 reboot of “God of War,” previously a PlayStation exclusive and winner of countless Game of the Year awards, will be coming to the PC on January 14th.

The PC port will have an unlocked frame rate, support for a ‘wide range of other game pads,’ plenty of high fidelity graphical options, DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex low latency technology, 21:9 widescreen and full 4K support, improved screen space reflections and shadows, mouse and keyboard customization, and pretty much all the DLC.

The title joins other PlayStation exclusives “Horizon Zero Dawn” and “Days Gone” which came to the PC in 2020 and 2021, while “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” and “Uncharted: The Lost Legacy” are also coming to the PC in early 2022.

Sony has indicated it won’t be doing such ports for new games, only legacy titles at least two or three years old. Even so, there remains a large list of exclusives still yet to make the jump including “Marvel’s Spider-Man,” “Ghost of Tsushima,” both “The Last of Us” games, the original “Uncharted” trilogy, “Bloodborne,” “Shadow of the Colossus,” “Infamous: Second Son,” “Demon’s Souls,” and the “Ratchet and Clank” titles.
