Actor Chris Hemsworth has confirmed that the Sam Hargrave-directed “Extraction” sequel will wrap filming in a week with the actor himself having just finished his shooting commitments.
Hemsworth posted a 40-second video on Instagram thanking the cast and crew and talking about the difficulties of the production from the harsh weather to the wild stunts.
The film is a follow-up to the April 2020 released Netflix original action feature which became one of the biggest streaming hits in the early days of the pandemic.
Hemsworth reprises his role of Australian mercenary Tyler Rake who has somehow survived the end of the first film and is now headed for a much colder and more snowbound climate for his next mission.
Joe Russo penned the sequel which does not have a release date yet.
