AMY GALLO: We’re outside together, finally, after months of being apart. We’re sitting in a lovely park in Belmont, Massachusetts, and we’ve got a new person with us, our HBR colleague Emily Caulfield, who’s our new co-host.
AMY BERNSTEIN: Yay!
EMILY CAULFIELD: Yay! Thank you so much. I’m so excited to be here. I work as a designer in the art department here at HBR, and I’m thrilled to be sitting beside the two of you for this show, and I cannot believe it’s real.
AMYS: Laugh.
AMY BERNSTEIN: So, we have been talking about our next season, Season 6. And we have been planning our episodes, and I think we have a lot of cool stuff on the docket. What do you think, Amy G?
AMY GALLO: Yeah, we have a lot we want to talk about this season. We want to continue our conversation from last season about how the pandemic is affecting women in their work lives. We also want to dig into some issues that women face all the time, such as asking for help, how to deal with shyness at work. Emily, what are you excited to talk about this season?
EMILY CAULFIELD: I’m really looking forward to hearing from other women who, like me, are also in the beginning stages of their career. But I’m also really excited to hear from women with a bit more experience and kind of take a little mentorship from that myself laughs.
AMY BERNSTEIN: And that’s, that’s what we do, and that’s what we’re going to continue doing. I mean, Women at Work is all about helping each other maintain our careers and our sanity together.
