Amazon Prime has released nearly two dozen new character posters for its mega-budget prequel series “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”.
Drawing inspiration from J.R.R. Tolkien’s literary work, the show explores Middle-earth in the Second Age – several millennia before the events of “The Lord of the Rings”.
The series will go back to before Sauron used the One Ring to subjugate the free people of Middle-earth and will likely deal with the creation of the Rings of Power.
“The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” will premiere Friday, September 2nd on Amazon Prime.
