Sony has announced a new State of Play event for this Thursday May 27th at 2pm US-PT. The 20-minute segment will boast around 14 minutes of brand new gameplay (captured directly on a PS5) from the highly anticipated “Horizon: Forbidden West”. [Source: Sony]

Sony Pictures has officially set a May 13th 2022 theatrical release date for the Adam Driver-led and Sam Raimi-produced sci-fi thriller “65”. Ariana Greenblatt and Chloe Coleman co-star in the film written and directed by “A Quiet Place” scribes Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. [Source: Deadline]
Hellraiser
Hulu has reportedly picked up Spyglass Media’s reboot of the “Hellraiser” franchise. The project is separate from the HBO Max TV series in development with Michael Dougherty, Mark Verheiden David Gordon Green involved.

Firestarter
Blumhouse Productions has confirmed that production has commenced on the new film adaptation of Stephen King’s pyrokinesis-themed novel “Firestarter”. Zac Efron and Michael Greyeyes lead the new take in the roles originally played by David Keith and George C. Scott in the 1984 film adaptation. Keith Thomas helms the new take.
