Mission: Impossible 7
Writer/director Christopher McQuarrie has shared a photo from the set of “Mission: Impossible 7” offering a murky look at an on-foot chase sequence with star Tom Cruise. The film is still on track to open November 19th in cinemas and then will jump to Paramount+ around the first week of January. [Source: Twitter]

Red Rocket
A24 has acquired North American distribution rights to “The Florida Project” and “Tangerine” helmer Sean Baker’s “Red Rocket”. Baker and Chris Bergoch penned the script.

Hatsune Miku
Virtual popstar Hatsune Miku, a hybrid of a real-life and digital performer, is getting her own original animated series being backed by Crypton Future Media, Graphic India and Carlin West Agency.

The project will combine live-action, animation and music, and will also boast an “exciting new look” for the character. Sharad Devarajan, Hiroyuki Itoh and Carlin West will serve as executive producers. [Source: Deadline]

Amusement Park
Shudder has acquired rights to George A. Romero’s previously lost film “The Amusement Park” which resurfaced in 2018. Restored in 4K, the 52-minute film will be made available in North America, U.K., Ireland, Australia and New Zealand this summer. [Source: Variety]

Titans
HBO Max has revealed a photo of the outfit that the character Blackfire (Damaris Lewis) will sport in the upcoming third season of “Titans”. Lewis plays the first-ever live-action Blackfire and was introduced to fans at the end of the second season. The third season is currently in production ahead of premiering later this year.
