Thue Rasmussen, who was to play the witcher Eskel in season two of Netflix’s “The Witcher,” has dropped out due to COVID-19 related scheduling conflicts. Rasmussen has filmed some scenes in the part which will now likely be recast rather than straight up cut. The new season arrives on Netflix in 2021. [Source: Instagram]
Dirty Diana
Demi Moore is attached to star in a series adaptation of the QCode podcast and erotic drama “Dirty Diana” currently in development at Amazon. At this time, none of the other actors from the podcast are attached to the series adaptation.
The six-episode series is loosely inspired by the story of a fractured moment in creator Shana Feste’s marriage, exploring how two partners can find their way back to each other through perseverance, connection, and sex. [Source: Variety]
Solo: A Star Wars Story
Composer John Powell has announced the soundtrack release “Solo: A Star Wars Story: The Deluxe Edition” via his social media accounts. The release will reportedly feature over two hours of original/unedited music for the film for digital exclusive streaming and digital purchase. The Commando
Mickey Rourke has joined the independent feature “The Commando” which will begin filming next month in New Mexico. Asif Akbar helms the project from a script by Koji Steven Sakai. Elias Axume will produce.
The story follows a DEA agent with PTSD who returns home after a botched mission and must now protect his family from a newly released prison criminal (Rourke) and his henchmen who’ve come after a stash of millions inside the agent’s house. [Source: Deadline]
